Even though it has recently become popular. Creative Visualization has been around since the beginning of human kind. Creative Visualization is the idea that everything is control by your subconscious mind, and your life and everything around can be changed with the power of your mind.

The mind is a powerful thing, and when used properly can be life altering. To achieve Creative Visualization follow these 6 simple steps:

1. Get Comfortable

The best results find a place free of distractions, where you can get completely relaxed. Make sure there is no noise, and you can make the room dark by either turning off the lights or closing the shades. A bedroom is most likely the best place since there is a bed to lye down on.

2. Close Your Eyes and Relax

Now, you'll need to close your eyes to keep yourself from focusing on what is in the room. (Even though you shouldn't be able to see much, since at this point it the room should be dark.) Then, tense up and relax each part of your body on part at a time.

Start from the tip of your toes and work your way up. At the same time, focus on your breathing. Breath in deeply through your nose and breath out deeply through your mouth. Continue this breathing through out the rest of this session.

3. Picture the Achievement of Your Goal

Before you start creative visualization you should already have in mind something you are trying to achieve. A goal you'd like to accomplish. (Note: Focus on one goal at a time for best results. After that goal has come then, move on to a different goal.) Here you will picture this goal becoming a reality.

Picture yourself as you are now, all the way until the goal has come true. For instance, say you want a new job, a better job. Picture the phone call for the interview, being amazing at the interview, and receiving the job offer you've wanted, accepting the job, and the positive benefits that will come after you take the job. The more vivid the images are, the more effect it will have.

4. Keep the Images Fresh in Your Mind

After you've finished your creative visualization session, you don't want to forget that imagine. Keep in your mind and think about it often. When you're stuck in traffic, when you're cooking dinner, before you fall asleep at night make sure to think about the details of your visualization. Remember it in all of its details because these details are what will help your dream come true.

5. Stay Positive

You need to avoid all negative thoughts. Any negative thoughts about what you are trying to accomplish will set you back. The desired result will not happen without your belief in it. If you do happen to think something negative go back and visualize again. Become relaxed and positive again. This is crucial to the creative visualization process.

6. Remain Open

Be open to new ideas. The opportunity may come to you to have you dreams come true in a way you didn't expect and you want to be ready for it. Nothing would be more disappointing than to have that opportunity go by unnoticed, and think that the creative visualization isn't working.
