Causes of enema constipation

According to Ayurveda, improper dietary habits are the main cause of constipation. Eating timings vary each day, eat food that is difficult to digest, eating too late in the night, frequent eating of dry food, lack of food with fiber content, drinking too many beverages, not drinking sufficient water are some of the dietary factors that lead to Constipation. Ayurveda also says that physical, environmental and behavioral factors that can also lead to this problem. Environmental and behavioral factors can be sleeplessness, smoking, mental worries or tensions, feelings of guilt or fear and Aging.

Symptoms of enema constipation

According to Ayurveda, Vata, Pitta and Kapha doshas are the three main constitution of human body. Constipation symptoms main depend on these three constitutions of a person:

Vata dosha - Browning of the tongue that cannot be cleaned easily, having occasional feelings of uneasiness in their stomachs with flatulence, stools are hard to eliminate, and food takes a long time to get digested properly are the common symptoms. Pitta dosha - Slightly yellowish stools, burning sensation in the anus as they are eliminated are the symptoms for the person with this constitution. Kapha dosha - Colon feels heavy, low digestive fire, usually feeling lethargic; eliminating faint (almost white) colored stools, feeling of flatulence and gas, bad breathings are the common symptoms with this constitution.
