Placing an emphasis on massage therapy, the holistic health practitioner program includes Oriental medicine traditions like Shiatsu, acupressure, aromatherapy, and Ayurveda. Graduates of the 1000-hour Holistic Health Practitioner Program meet licensing requirements throughout the United States.
The 1000-hour Clinical Massage Practitioner Program at Mesa Academy prepares students to meet Nationwide licensing requirements; a 500-hour program is also available. Core training entails lymphatic drainage, Lomi Lomi, Nutrition, Myotherapy, reflexology, chair massage, pre/post natal massage, in addition to several other related classes.
Electives at Mesa Academy include courses in business/marketing, Ayurveda therapy, Lomi Lomi, lymph drainage therapy, energy therapies, stone massage therapy, and National Board Certification preparation, among others.
