By this inner Magnificent Sun !
He is called by names many
Brahma, Vishnu, Siva
Skanda, Prajapathi, Time
He is the Causer of the Seasons !
The Sun you verily behold
Is merely Its outer Symbol
Deep within all He dwells
As the Infinite Absoute Self.
He possesses rays golden
He eclipses bodies celestial
He is revered by celestials and humans
Worship this glorious Inner Sun !
He is self luminous
He represents Totality
He sustaineth life
He is the glorious Sol !
He is the son of Aditi
The mother of all celestials
He is symbolised as Creator
He is of golden hued brilliance
The inspirer of all action glorious
He is the power behind the organs sense
He pervades everywhere
He destroys Nescience
The bestower of prosperity
The remover of misfortunes
So worship this mighty Sun !
The Middle Path is Yoga
The Via Media is always best
Anything in excess always
Brings trouble to men !
He who is same
In shame or glory
In praise or calumny
In joy and sorrow
In victory and defeat
Is the true Yogi !
He who knows experientially
That all this is the Mirage of the Mind
He is the wise one
He is the true Yogi
Like the blueness in the sky
Like water in the mirage
This Universe shines in Consciousness Pure
That Pure Consciousness Thou art !
That which enforces Ethics and Morality
Is Sastra called !
Shasanti iti shastram !
The redeeming instructions which
Saves a man from perdition
Is Sastra called !
Sasanath thrayathe ithi sastram
Scire means to know
Vid means to know
Scientia is Knowledge
Veda is Knowledge
All sciences have been revealed by Me
To save mankind from destruction
They are a great preparation
For Liberation, O Noble One !
