Megalithic Miracles

With our super computers and sophisticated technology we still can't hew stones and build monuments like they did thousands of years ago.

There's too many things in our world that aren't explainable and it seems as though we're okay with that. Worse yet, any ideas that are submitted that doesn't match with conventional logic are rejected. Let's examine the myriad of megaliths around the planet and ask ourselves some serious questions, and not be afraid of the answers.

A megalith is a large stone (a VERY aLrge stone) which has been used to construct a structure or monument, either alone or together with other stones. Megalithic means structures made of such large stones, utilizing an interlocking system without the use of mortar or cement.

The word megalith comes from the Ancient Greek megas meaning great, and lithos meaning stone. "Megalith" also denotes an item consisting of rock(s) hewn in definite shapes for special purposes. It has been used to describe buildings built by people from many parts of the world living in many different periods. The construction of these structures took place mainly in the Neolithic (though earlier Mesolithic examples are known) eras.

So, let us ask some serious questions.

1-How was the Obelisk stone at Luxor that weights 400tons+ built?

2-How were the monuments-stones at Stonehenge weighing more than 40 tons erected?

3-How was the Great Spinx built- and the Pyramids of Giza?

Generally, how was the cutting, transporting, and erecting stones weighing more than 100 tons obviously using technology- ingenuity that we do not know about today? Can we recover the secrets? Are they still hidden? Are they in plain sight and we simply don't see it?

Were they so primitive and we so intelligent? What did they know, where did they get their power and technology, and how can we recover such, if at all? Heading into the storm clouds of 2012, maybe we should be spending more time trying to find such answers and quit trying to kill each other.

As a spiritual-futurist my commentaries and articles deal primarily with an interpretation of current events in light of macro-universal forces at play.
