Moon in Sagittarius
After the intensity of the Moon in Scorpio we are entering smoother waters with Sagittarius. The energy will be lighter, expansive and optimistic. Because the Moon is symbolizing your emotional filter to the surrounding world you might be able to tune in with the different stations of the Moon in the Zodiac and feel distinct differences.
Let’s have a closer look at the quality of the sign and what it means for us.
SAGITTARIUS: The Adventurer Searching for Deeper Meaning in Life
It’s hard not to like Sagittarians, for their openness, generosity, and sociable nature. They are deep thinkers in search of universal wisdom, attracting them to philosophy and religion. Their minds can grasp both the details and the bigger picture: they can think with intellectual precision but also intuitively. That unusual combination of thinking skills allows them to be at the forefront of creative ideas.
They are idealistic and care about the state of the world, leading them to take up vocations in medicine, education, religion, and politics. They need to be highly independent in their work and in their personal lives. They love to travel to widen their horizon and they are fascinated by other cultures.
Sagittarian energy is fire and shows in the energetic self-expression and passion they bring to the world. They are ruled by Jupiter who is considered a very fortunate and joyful energy in astrology.
Be Inspired, Think Big!
With the Moon in Sagittarius we all can have a little of their gregarious nature. Think about where do you want to have more passion in your life? Where do you want to learn more and expand your skills?
In your relationship? Or your professional life? In your health?
If it is in your love relationship I recommend the book from John Grey: Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus. It is such a classic and there are many more books written by him about this subject, looking at the same theme from different angles. He has a very humorous way of looking at the differences of Men and Women and makes many valid points.
If it is your professional life you want to expand and grow I have enjoyed tremendously the book from Timothy Ferriss: The 4- Hour Workweek. What an intriguing concept! This book had me spellbound from the first to the last page, which is quite unusual for me to read a whole non-fiction book that way. Usually I just pick out what seems to be of most interest for me.
If it is in your health I recommend The Astonishing Power of Emotions by Abraham-Hicks. This book talks about how we can be more in tune in with our source energy, our divine being. It talks about how our emotions are indicators for where we are in our journey towards deepening joy and well-being and how we can use them in a smart way to get there.
Prayers and Intentions
Sagittarius is very spiritually oriented and has very definite philosophical ideas and mental positions. Prayers are very much at home with this sign.
Prayers are a way to personally and intentionally connect with the divine inside of us to seek guidance and helping support. It has been used for that throughout history and cultures. It satisfies a deep inner longing for connection with the divine.
How about you? Do you set aside some time for contemplation and prayers on a regular base? Do you make time in your life for checking in with yourself in the bigger picture of life?
Tony Robbins calls it “being in the Zone”. That is the place of creativity, insights, intentions, musings and creating the life of your dreams. So more you spend time in “The Zone” so more guided you are by the mysteries of life. It will free up some of your “busy doing time” because you become more focused onto what is really important for you as an outcome.
Any kind of practice which helps you calming down the mind into a more peaceful, receptive and balanced state is beneficial. Maybe you are already enjoying some kind of meditation or yoga practice. If not I like to invite you to just focus onto your breathing throughout the day, whenever you can remember to do it. Just stop for a moment and experience your breath going in and out with this little still point between the in-breath and the out-breath. After all the present moment is all there is and the breath brings you right to it.
