By: Mo Dioun
The Olde Gahanna Community Partnership honored Stonehenge Company President and Chief Executive Officer Mo Dioun for his role in the planning and development of the recently opened Creekside Gahanna mixed-use development. The organization presented Dioun with a plaque in recognition of his dedication and foresight in making the revitalization of Gahanna?s suburban downtown a reality.

?As a long time Gahanna resident and business proprietor, I am humbled to be honored by my fellow neighbors and business owners who have shared our vision for Olde Gahanna since its inception,? Dioun said. ?Without the overwhelming support of the people of Gahanna this dream would never have become a reality, and for that we owe each of you a tremendous debt of gratitude.?

Creekside Gahanna, which was the result of a public-private financing partnership between the City of Gahanna and The Stonehenge Company, represents one of the most significant developments in the city?s more than 150-year history. Creekside features 100,000 square feet of office and retail space, along with 140,000 square feet of residential loft condominiums. A new 540-space parking garage, public plazas and water features round out this unique urban redevelopment project.

The development also features a diverse mix of restaurants and retailers including Bread Basket Family Bakery, Buck Mulligan?s Irish Pub, Candle Lab, Cold Stone Creamery, Golden Nails and Salon, Koulian Jewelers, Mezzo Italian Kitchen and Wine, The Shoppes of Portobello Row and The Wine Guy Wine Shop, Wine Bar and Bistro.

Formed in 1998, The Olde Gahanna Community Partnership (OGCP) is comprised of Olde Gahanna business owners and residents who work together to improve the area?s quality of  life  by promoting and advocating improvements to strengthen and ensure the long-term viability of Olde Gahanna. In recent years, the partnership played a key role in championing the revitalization efforts around Creekside Park, which were ultimately realized in Creekside Gahanna.
