We are Spirit-Consciousness! My definition of Spirit or Consciousness (I use them interchangably depending upon the nature of the progresiveness of the audience I am addressing) is the "eternal, timeless, and immaterial essence of all humanity that originated in God, preceding birth and surviving death". Think about it. But, I want to address the preceding birth paradigm for now.
We WERE before we stepped down into these physical bodies. And we ARE and forever will be Spirit-Consciousness. Jesus died but Christos lives! Spirit knows nothing of death. Flesh is spirit materialized. So, how is it that we consciously know little or nothing about what WAS?
I don't know, but I can speculate where I cannot revelate.
An interesting discovery in Indigo children, Star kids, and others is that they frequently talk about the life they once lived. They also talk about how they have been losing their MEMORY of what was. Is this a flaw in the human psyche, a hard-wired facet of our humanity, or a software problem? What does the soul lose it's capacity to KNOW everything which we must relearn when it eners into the physical realm.
What's up with that?
When pure Spirit-Consciousness is stepped down to the point of "visibility" (body-soul), it somehow temporarily loses touch with it's true being, permanent identity. Is there any wonder then that we find the encouragment over and over in the Bible to REMEMBER! Remember who we ARE! As that process begins to unfold and reveals our true being and nature, we come to the realization that I of my own self can do nothing, but with God, all things are possible.
I remember again that I and the Creator, Father-Consciousness, are ONE, but that He (no gender intended) is greater. When we begin to remember that we are ONE, we start to comprehend the "I AM" principle that IS- everything is NOW! Or as Eccl. 3 reminds us, "That which was is now and that which has yet to be already is." And that's in the Bible, not some Zenism!
I want to know the real me, the real you?
