Spiritual New Age Doctor

Romans 4:17

Knowing Scripture is a positive, quoting Scripture is good; however, seeing Scripture fulfilled will take more than a little verbal affirmation.

Christians are good at confessing and not so good at accomplishing. Many Christians are familiar with Romans 4:17 and many repeat the words quite frequently. In it's simplicity, the verse says that we are to CALL that which IS NOT as though IT WERE! How great, how glorious, how impossible! It's impossible because to JUST DO IT (as Nike would say) would be to stray into new age, superstitious paradigms (according to fundamentalist thinking).

So, you have a disease that the doctor hasw affirmed as "x". Call that "x" disease as though it's NOT and bring into your life a healing. Well, by repeating the words (from whatever translation you choose) over and over again, in mindless repitition, isn't going to change a thing! You know that's right!

So, what's the esoteric meaning of the verse?

What's the TRUTH?

The truth is that to fulfill the purpose and principle of the verse you will have to do the following.

1-You must SEE (detailed vision) the result that you want.

2-You must IMAGINE actually being there NOW.

3-You must FEEL the moment, smell it, taste it, and live it.

4-You must work FROM the intended goal (backwards) and not TO (forward) it.

5-You must persistently STAY THERE until you sense a release and then let it go.

After a season the birthing will take place. Everything has it's season or time. Horses need eleven months, humans nine months, and chickens but twenty days to birth the vision.

For most religious Christians, this is too much work, too much new-age feeling, and well, just not religious enough. Exactly! And that's why it works because it's a spiritual principle- process, and we must trust the process. I can't make just anything ahppen, but the I AM that is within me can. The distinction here between Christian metaphysics and "religious name it and claim it" is day and night. One approach is the Kingdom of God while the other is the Kingdom of You!

In following the Romans 4:17 spiritual principle to it's ultimate conclusion, you will find the fulfillment of II Cor. 4:18 (that which is NOT SEEN will not become SEEN).
