In physics, a unified field theory allows all of the fundamental forces between elementary particles to be written in terms of a single field. There is no accepted unified field theory yet, and this remains an open line of research. The term was coined by Albert Einstein who attempted to unify the general theory of relativity with electromagnetism. It's the long sought after Theory of Everything!
Wouldn't the theory of everything be what's generally called God? :-)
More specifically matter, all matter (which we now wonder if anything is matter) is organized energy. I am energy, you are energy, we all BE energy! Some days I am far more energetic than other days. The point that I am heading to is that so much of what we knew, we didn't! The world is not a MACHINE. The world is ENERGY, VIBRATION, and FREQUENCY. The earth has a vibration and each organ in my body has a distinction energy or vibration.
The good news in all of this is that instead of the world being a CLOCK (machine) that has been wound up and is winding down, the earth, solar system, universe and all is more like a THOUGHT! Yep, and more people than mathematician James Jean is on to that concept. Hang on now. Our thoughts, my thoughts are a part of the universe's thought. What I am THINKING effects the world in some fashion- small though it may be.
Valerie Hunt put it this way, "The universe is a unified network of events and relationships in which the mind and intelligence and the human soul are integral parts of existence, rather than he products of nature." Lest you write off this awesome ladies musing, let me remind you that Valeria Dr. Valerie Hunt is an internationally recognized pioneer scientist of human energy fields, holding advanced degrees in psychology and physiological science from Columbia University.
There are no firm boundaries between all of these "fields".
What this says to us going forward into the year 2012 (and beyond) is that each one of us is a part of the problem of life or a part of the solution(s). So what will it be over the next 3-4 years? Will we continue to kill, separate, and divide or will we discover who we are and transcend the ego to rise who we really ARE? We have a choice- we collectively, we individually. We can go our own separate ways thinking we know it all or we can compliment the vast universe within which we ARE and truly find the unified field, the theory of everything.
Which way will we choose?
As a spiritual-futurist, I interpret current events in light of possible macro-universal forces at play leading up to 2012, but not limited to it.
