Well, in this article we will discuss about the types of vegetarian and what they consume. In general, a vegetarian is someone who excludes animal products in his specific diet. Vegetarian divided into 5 categories:
Semi-Vegetarian aka Flexitarians Semi-vegetarians still consume some meat, but they restrict the intake of either certain types of meat or the amount of meat. For example, they may not eat beef or deer, but they eat birds. Or they may only eat meat once or twice a week. Someone who only eats fish can also be called pescatarian. Lacto-ovo Vegetarian The most common types, they do not eat eggs or dairy and divided into two sub categories: * Ovo vegetarians (eat eggs but not dairy) * Lacto vegetarians (eat dairy but not eggs) Vegan Person who consumes only plant foods such as vegetables, grains, legumes (beans and peas), fruits, nuts, and seeds. Vegan does not eat animal products - anything that includes meat, fish, poultry, eggs, cheese, milk, butter, and honey. Raw or Living Foodists Raw or Living Foodists eat only raw foods; they believe that the process of cooking can destroy enzymes. Fruitarians Fruitarians only eat fruit, fruit-like vegetables (e.g., tomatoes, cucumbers), and sometimes seeds and nuts. The Fruitarian lifestyle includes avoiding all cooked food and consider it non healthy for the individual
