This implies that a person can erase karmic circumstances in his/her life and live in a never-ending utopia, fulfilling all ego-self desires and skipping the important, tough lessons in life. We disagree.
The question of whether people new to Buddhism should meditate is a difficult one. Obviously meditation is the way that most Westerners are introduced to Buddhism and, in fact, often their only Buddhist practice is meditation.
