Sylvia was born in Kansas City, Missouri. When Sylvia was three she revealed to her family that her grandfather had died. She also predicted, correctly, that her younger sister would be born in three years. Sylvia had a loving father and a close
relationship with her psychic material grandmother, Ada.
Unfortunately Sylvia has had a difficult life with financial and marital problems but she has used her experience to help others and realized what she has gone through makes her more compassionate.

This book is fantastic and a quick read. I highly recommend it to both fans and new readers alike. I had the pleasure of seeing Sylvia speak live at a New Age conference in 2006. She was a great speaker and had the audience eating out of her hand. I had no idea that she was so funny but she kept us laughing the entire time.
