The manufacturing method is called a “modified detoxification process” which involves a stage in which electricity is run through the substance; the result is “electrified atomic iodine”, or “atomidine.” The electrification is said to allow the Atomidine to continue to function as an iodine supplement — the original use of detoxified iodine — while also giving it added attributes that affect the immune system.

Cayce regarded this specially formulated “atomic” iodine as far easier to assimilate than other forms, and even gave advice regarding its preparation. According to the readings this mineral is a vital element in the makeup of the human body and is essential to the process of building new cells. It also was valued for its stimulating, balancing and purifying effect on the endocrine glands.

In order to gently stimulate the system and then give it time to adjust, Atomidine was to be taken in cycles that alternated several days of dosage with several days of rest. Many readings recommended only one drop per day for this purpose, although others increased this dose by a drop a day for several days—a regimen adopted by the A.R.E. Clinic after studying some 75 different plans.

In these extracts from some of his readings about Atomidine he says:

”The Atomidine—that is activative in the glands, especially the thyroid, the adrenal and all the ductless activities through the atomic forces in iodine, the one basic force with potash—makes for a balance throughout the functionings of the body itself ”(636-1).

”Within a few weeks…the system will be changed, and also the vibrations through the glandular forces that control the lymph circulation in alimentary canal as well as organs of the pelvis…the Atomidine acts as a gland purifier—causing especially the thyroids and the glands of the stomach, particularly the pyloric portion of the stomach and throughout the duodenum, to change in the form of secretions thrown off—and this affects directly the circulation ”(3104-1).

(the numbers that follow each quote from the readings refer to the reading filing code in the A.R.E. files)

Adapted from the Wikipedia article Atomidine, under the G. The word ”oracle” is used by Tibetans to refer to the spirit, deity or entity that enters those men and women who act as media between the natural and the spiritual realms. The media are, therefore, known as ”kuten”, which literally means, “the physical basis”.

The Dalai Lama, who lives in exile in northern India, still consults an oracle known as the ”Nechung Oracle”, which is considered the official state oracle of the government of Tibet. He gives a complete description of the process of trance and possession in his book ”Freedom in Exile” [http://www.tibet.com/Buddhism/nechung_hh.html].

Edgar Cayce

Edgar Cayce (1877–1945) was an American psychic who claimed to channel answers to questions on subjects such as health, astrology, reincarnation, and Atlantis while in a kind of sleep trance. Cayce’s methods involved lying down and entering into what appeared to be a trance or sleep state, usually at the request of a subject who was seeking help with health or other issues (the sub<div

The subject’s questions would then be given to Cayce, and Cayce would proceed with a “reading”. At first these readings dealt primarily with the physical health of the individual (“physical readings”); later readings on past lives, business advice, dream interpretation, and mental or spiritual health were also given.

Adapted from the Wikipedia article Trance, under the G.

In late 1963, Jane Roberts and her husband, Robert Butts, experimented with a Ouija board as part of Roberts’ research for a book on extra-sensory perception. According to Roberts and Butts, on December 2, 1963, they began to receive coherent messages from a male personality who later identified himself as Seth. Soon after, Roberts reported that she was hearing the messages in her head. She began to dictate the messages instead of using the Ouija board, and the board was eventually abandoned. For 21 years until Roberts’ death in 1984 (with a one-year hiatus due to her final illness), Roberts held regular sessions in which she went into a trance and purportedly spoke on behalf of Seth.

According to Roberts, the Seth personality described himself as an “energy personality essence no longer focused in physical matter” who was independent of Roberts’ subconscious, although Roberts herself expressed skepticism as to Seth’s origins, frequently referring to Seth’s statements as “theories”. The Seth personality said that he had completed his earthly reincarnations and was speaking from an adjacent plane of existence (or “system of reality” or “universe”, all terms which the Seth personality used). The Seth personality described himself as a “teacher”, and said that the information in the Seth Material is given to every generation of humans.

Unlike the psychic Edgar Cayce, whose syntax when speaking in trance was antiquated and convoluted, Roberts’ syntax and sentence structures were modern and<div

Roberts often sat in a rocking chair during sessions, and she would occasionally smoke cigarettes and sip beer or wine. Afterwards, she would usually not remember the contents of the session, and she would have to read the transcript or be told what Seth had said.

Adapted from the Wikipedia article Seth Material, under the G. Cobb was allowed to sit out the last two games of the season, while Lajoie got eight hits on the final game. Sixty-eight years later, baseball historian Pete Palmer discovered a miscalculation in statistics and found that Cobb had actually finished with a .383 average. Major League Baseball declined, in 1981, to revise the 1910 records.

Adapted from the Wikipedia article October 1910, under the G. N. U. Free Documentation License. Her version of hooponopono was influenced by her Christian (Protestant and Catholic) education and her philosophical studies about India, China and Edgar Cayce. The combination of Hawaiian traditions, praying to the Divine Creator, and connecting problems with Reincarnation and Karma resulted in a unique new problem solving process, that was self-help rather than the traditional Hawaiian group process. She had no qualms about adapting traditional concepts to contemporary applications, though she was criticized by some Hawaiian purists. “Her system uses hooponopono techniques to create a working partnership among the three parts of the mind or self, which she calls by Hawaiian names, as well as by the terms subconscious, conscious and superconscious.”

She presented trainings and lectures on hooponopono to the United Nations, in nearly a dozen states in the U.S., and in more than 14 countries, among them Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, France, Russia and Japan. She presented to schools of higher learning, such as the University of Hawaii and Johns Hopkins University, to medical facilities, religious institutions and business organizations. In 1982 she organized the ”First World Symposium of Identity of Man”. A reporter noted: “There was something very calming and soothing about Simeona’s presence and her voice, a sense of serenity about her, as she talks about teaching people how to relieve stress and attai<div

(Freedom of the Cosmos). In 1990, she started Pacifica Seminars in Germany. Simeona wrote three textbooks ”Self-Identity through Hooponopono, Basic 1” (128 pg), ”Basic 2” (to use after two years of practicing) and ”Basic 3” (to use after five years). The recommended waiting times for Basic 2 and 3 was for developing deep respect for the “Divine presence.” In 1990, the English original of ”Basic 1”, 8th edition, was officially translated and printed in German and French.

In late fall 1990, her last journey for lectures and seminars took her through Europe to Jerusalem. On January 16, 1991, she came back to Germany, where she lived quietly at a friend’s house in Kirchheim, near Munich, until her death on February 11, 1992.

Adapted from the Wikipedia article Morrnah Simeona, under the G.
